Southern Monitoring Services Ltd was established in 1983 as a privately owned company to provide third party monitoring services to the security industry within the UK.

     The National Security Inspectorate (NSI) has been the UK's leading inspectorate for the security industry for over thirty years. Languard Alarms is a family owned security company covering the whole of Sussex and the surrounding area.

We operate a very personal/professional service to all our customers based on 25 years of experience within the security industry. From the small one bedroom flat to the large industrial sector, we cover a range of security applications including intruder alarms, CCTV and fire alarms, all designed and installed by our highly professional engineers.

We are listed on the National Security Inspectorate [NSI] approved installers list and conform to the installation standards BS EN 50131 for Alarms, BS EN 50132 for CCTV & BS EN 50133 for Access Control. We hold Product Certification to these engineering standards AND the Business Management Standard BS EN ISO 9001:2008 with NSI via their NACOSS Gold Scheme. We are also accredited by Sussex, Surrey, Kent and Hampshire police forces as well as being recognised by all insurance companies.
