Qualified Service And Installer Engineer

Languard Alarms requires the following:
An experienced service engineer, with previous experience working for NSI or SSAIB approved alarm company. The position is permanent. Rate of pay after trial period to be negotiated. We run a 40 hour week, plus call out rota with 20 days of holiday + statutory days.

Service Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional maintenance services for our products. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service delivery.

Experience in Alarm installation/service required.

Rota Monday to Friday with 1 in 6 callout.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues, providing effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored support.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, including repairs, maintenance schedules, and customer interactions.
  • Provide training and guidance to customers on the proper use of equipment.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance service delivery.
Skills
  • Experience in Alarm installation/service required.
  • Strong technical aptitude with experience in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and team members.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software relevant to the industry.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and reliability.
  • A valid clean driving license is essential for travel between service locations.
